Triangle A’B’C’ is a dilation of triangle ABC about point P with a scale factor of 12 . Is the dilation a reduction or an enlargement?

Enlargement is the correct answer

i think it`s reduction because 1/2 is less than one meaning that you divide by half, meaning thatit`s smaller so it would be a reduction.

i`m not sure though so once i take the test i`ll confirm if i was right or not
