A hot dog stand at the fair sells hot dogs for $2 and drinks for $1. If the number of hot dogs you bought is 8 less than four times the number of drinks you bought, and you spent $20, how many hot dogs did you buy?

$2 + $1 = $3

8 x 4 = 32

32 - $20 = $12


You will have $12 dollars to buy the hot dogs.
