if 8 is added to twice a number and the sum is multiplied by 4, the result is the same as if the number is multiplied by 5 and 11 is added to the product. what is the number

say the number is x
then you get 4(2x+8) = 5x+11
                    8x + 32 = 5x+ 11
                    3x = -21
                    x = -7
