This is best described by a cognitive explanation. Even thought there are disputes about who created the cognitive approach it still is about trying to understand and study the thought processes that affect our behavior. This is an attempt to generalize and attribute the mental processes to everyone. These processes happen after the person receives a stimulus but before the person reacts, and they are among others creativity and problem solving. But as humanist argues the problem of the method is that they do not take certain individual characteristics into consideration that make each person behave differently. These differences are steadily being acknowledged by cognitive psychologists.
