a scale drawing has scale 1:20. in real life the length of a boat is 150m what is the length of the boat on the scale drawing. Answer in centimetres

To find the size of the scale, we must divide its size by 20 (because the scale is 1:20). Doing that we get 150/20=7.5m=750cm. Hope this helps!

To find this out, we must divide the real object by 20 (Because the scale is 1:20)

150/20 = 7.5

7.5 is still in meters, so we must put in it centimeters:

7.5 x 100 = 750 cm  (Multiply by 100) 

So the scale drawing is 750 centimeters.
