An overview within psychology that highlight the potential for of human to be good and that is nature of human is Humanism.  Observable actions of humans and nonhuman animals it is also the scientific study of mind and behavior.  Behavior is biological, but our behavior is influenced by our interactions with others.

Diana is selecting applicants by assessing their personality profiles. So she is working in the specialty area of Industrial Organizational Psychology called, Selection and Placement.

In this area of Industrial and organizational Psychology, the tools for selection, placement, classification and promotion of employees are developed. Test Instruments are validated, Job Content is analyzed, Selection Programs are developed and implemented, and placement of personnel are done.

So Diana is doing the Selection and Placement process by reviewing the profiles of the candidates.
