duodenum: a mixing bowl that receives chyme from the stomach and digestive secretions from the pancreas and liver
jejunum: a junction that reenters the peritoneal cavity, the bulk of chemical digestion and nutrient absorption occurs
ileum: this part is connected to the large intestine by the ileocecal valve
The duodenum is the answer.
