There are some cell organelles in a living cell that can be used to distinguish if a cell is a plant cell or an animal cell. For an unknown tissue, that is been examined under the microscope, it can be concluded that the tissue is from a plant, if the following are observe inside the cells of the tissue: cell wall, vacuole and chloroplast. These three cell organelles are found in plant cells only.
