The way I would make the Cornell notes with on the left column I would write each paragraph as a new topic and on the right next to each topic, I would include the requirements of each paragraph.
With the portion when you need to make up questions, one of the questions I might have used is something along the lines of "What does an argumentative essay have that an informative does not?" or "What are the requirements for the introductory paragraph?"
