Which statement is most nearly the same as Newton's third law?

A) If the net force acting on an object is zero, it does not accelerate.

B) When one object exerts a force on a second object, the first object exerts an equal force on itself in the opposite direction.

C) Acceleration of an object is proportional to net force divided by mass.

D) When you push on an object, it pushes back just as strongly on you.

Respuesta :

the one that makes the most sense would be B

Answer:

Your answer would be D) When you push on an object, it pushes back just as strongly on you.

Explanation:

This was the only question I had gotten wrong on my test. I thought B would be it, but I can see where the mistake was. According to Britannica.com  "The third law is also known as the law of action and reaction". which would fit with D if you think about out.

Hope this helps and Good luck!
