The Code of Hammurabi, the Twelve Tables, and the Justinian Code are all collections of laws developed by early people in mighty emperors. The Code of Hammurabi is a Babylonian code of law of ancient Mesopotamia, dating back to about 1754 BC. The Twelve Tables is the earliest attempt by the Romans to create a code of laws, appointed (450 B.C.). And lastly, The Justinian Code is a collection of laws and legal interpretations developed in the Byzantine emperor Justinian I from AD 529 to 565.
