The Scientific Revolution saw the rise of scientific academies at various places in Europe. The (Royal Academy, Royal Academy of Sciences, Royal Society) was founded in 1660 in London. The Academy of Sciences was founded in 1666 in (France, Germany, Italy) . The main objective of these academies was to encourage modern scientific discoveries.

They are very selective on how they add members to their organization. They have specific standards that must be met before you are qualified to be added to these organizations.
