Lee has a jar of 100 pennies. She adds groups of 10 pennies to the jar. She adds 5 groups. What numbers does she say?

If she started out with 100 and she added 5 groups of 10 she should have 150.

100+(5 x 10)
           50
100+50=150
She has 150 because she times 10 and 5 together and get 50 and then plus 100 and you get 150
