Sacagawea was a woman from the Shoshone tribe (option b).Specifically she was Lemhi Shoshone, a smaller tribe within the Shoshone, named after fort Lemhi.
Sacagawea, the only woman guide and interpreter on Lewis and Clark’s expedition, was a member of the Shosshon Indian tribe.
