Every summer ,an ice cream stand sells 3 times as many sugar cones as waffle cones. Last year, they sold 288 cones. For the upcoming summer, the manager decides to order 288 sugar cones and 72 waffle cones. Did the manager order the correct number of waffle cones. Use equivalent ratios to explain your answer.

Respuesta :

No, because 72*3 is 216. In order for it to be the right amount, the number of sugar cones must be 3 times the amount of the number of waffle cones.
No because 72*3=216 The Equation should have been 96*3=288
