Can someone please help me with this problem?

Let f(x)=(x-2)^3+8.
Show that this function is one-to-one algebraically.

I've been stuck on this problem for quite some time now. I'm not asking for answers just a little explanation on what I need to do to solve it.

Respuesta :

it is a function so u dont have to solve the equation u just have to make a graphic on it...i have learned in school that first u should do the line of x^3 then u should move the line -2 on the graphic( vertically) and then +8 horizontally
