I have to build a box for my scouting project with a volume of 36 cubic centimeters. The base of the box is 6 cm long and 2 cm wide. How high should I build the box?

You should build your box 3 centimeters high. 

Volume =  Length x Width x Heigh

36 = 6 . 2 . X
36/6 = 2X
6= 2X
6/2 = X
3 = X
