Which of the following statements about reading biographies is true?
If you want to get an objective picture of someone’s life, read a biography written by the subject’s friend.
If you want to get a totally unbiased picture of someone’s life, you should read a biography written by a historian.
If you want to understand how others saw someone’s life, you should read the person’s autobiography.
If you want to get a truer picture of someone’s life, you should read a variety of biographies about that person.

Respuesta :

Reading a variety of biographies would be the best way to get a true picture of a person.

(An an autobiography won't necessarily tell you how others saw a person, so that doesn't work.

Historians aren't usually biased, but they can be, so that might not work.

It would be very hard to expect a friend to write a totally objective biography.)
