the treaty was purposefully made to target Germany and destroy them economically...this created resentment and allowed Hitler to exploit the hatred they held...therefore they started building an army and everything.
The Treaty of Versailles treated the Germans badly and it made the Germans mad. France and England were allies and wanted to punish Germany so they took away Germany's colonies and stopped them from having a fun military.
