I think you are asking 1/6 divided by 4. In this case you are going to need to turn them both into fractions. So lets get started.
1.) 1/6 divided by 4/1
2.) its the same as saying 1/6 ÷ 4/1
I would suggest if fractions are not your thing to go to your search engine and type in fraction calculator. I like to use the calculator.net one. I can plug in the numbers and it tells me step by step how to do them. Since I am in college I can also explain them to my daughter better this way too.
Now since you are dividing you are going to flip and multiply by the reciprocle. If you don't know what that means that means you will flip the last set of numbers and multiply. So now you should have your problem look like this.
