Well the Cherokee lands before the European started to colonize, Cherokee lands at the end of the American Revolution, Cherokee Lands prior to the 1838 Removal Act, Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma which put in the Indian territory, Andrew Jackson had his 7th Annual Message to Congress, Then there was the trail of tears.

This act was passed by president Andrew Jackson and it allowed them to move over 200,000 native Americans. this happened because they wanted to be able to relocate any native american in the East territory that was west of the Mississippi river
