The purpose of APS, or the Admission Point Score is to determine which
student is eligible to become part of a certain college or university,
and which are not. Collecting these points throughout education is
important when it comes to enrolling in a college, because many
universities require a certain number of points to even be considered to
become their student. It is used to weed out the good and deserving
students from those who do not belong there.
