The first significant thing franklin Delano Roosevelt's consistently did in his speeches was to approach the United States as a "team," in the sense that he persuaded everyone to unite American people behind a single goal. The second thing he did was to approach every issue as though it would grow and worsen if it wasn't resolved.

He made an effort to highlight the historic significance of what happened at  franklin Delano Roosevelt's while also subtly asking the American people to remember the assault and mark the anniversary of it. His strategy was woven into his inauguration speech. In  American people order to conduct this battle, he intended to declare war on the Great Depression and required as much executive freedom as possible.
