Hole in a graph means for a particular value both the numerator and the denominator of the function becomes zero and value is not find able. For example,
[tex]\frac{x-1}{2x-2}[/tex]Here now we substitute the value of x as 1. so we get,
[tex]\frac{x-1}{2x-2}=\frac{1-1}{2(1)-2}=\frac{0}{0}[/tex]Here the value of 0/0 is undefined the value cannot be marked on the graph. so there will be a gap in the graph such as,
