Hey, so my Brainly crashed and my tutor was answering my question but it won’t let me go back to him so I have to get a new one sadly, hopefully he comes back, if not that’s okay. Anyway I need help, my assignment doesn’t make sense to me!

To determine the area of the figure we divide it in three rectangles as shown above. From the diagram we have:
• Rectangle I have length 11 cm and width 4 cm.
,• Rectangle II have length 6 cm and width 2 cm.
,• Rectangle III have length 11 cm and width 4 cm.
The area of a rectangle is given by:
[tex]A=lw[/tex]Adding the area of each rectangle we have:
[tex]\begin{gathered} A=(11)(4)+(6)(2)+(11)(4) \\ A=44+12+44 \\ A=100 \end{gathered}[/tex]Therefore, the area of the figure is 100 square cm
