We have a function f(x)=3x-2, that is a line, but is only defined for a domain D = {-3,1,5}

Then, we will have only 3 points for this function: the points (x,f(x)) that relate the x of the domain D to their corresponding image.

We can calculate f(x) for each value of the domain:

[tex]x=-3\longrightarrow f(-3)=3(-3)-2=-9-2=-11[/tex][tex]x=1\longrightarrow f(1)=3(1)-2=3-2=1[/tex][tex]x=5\longrightarrow f(5)=3(5)-2=15-2=13[/tex]

Then, we have the three points: (-3,-11), (1,1) and (5,13).

Then, we cn graph this points in a graph where y=f(x):
