Please help me I do not know why I got question 10 wrong

In the pythagorean theorem:
[tex]a^2+b^2=c^2[/tex]a and b are the legs of the right triangle
c is the hypotenuse of the right triangle (opposite side to the right angle)
For the given triangle:
[tex]\begin{gathered} a=x \\ b=6 \\ c=8 \\ \\ x^2+6^2=8^2 \end{gathered}[/tex]Use the equation above to solve x:
[tex]\begin{gathered} x^2+36=64 \\ x^2=64-36 \\ x^2=28 \\ x=\sqrt[]{28} \\ \\ x=5.3 \end{gathered}[/tex]
