The vertex on the quadratic equation can be determined directly from the formula:

y=c(x-h)^2+k

Where (h,k) represent the vertex of the parabola.

The sign in -h doesn't mean that the x-coordinate is negative, and here is a little trick, the x-coordinate will always be the oposite of the value written in the square term. So the actual value of x is h.

For the y-coordinate you use it just as itis written in the formula.

For the quadratic formula in the exercise:

y=2(x-3)²+4

x-coordinate is 3

y-coordinate is 4

Vertex (3,4)

The correct option is the first one.
