The stress response refers to the physical and thought responses to your perception of various situations.
When the stress response is triggered, your body may release substances like adrenaline and cortisol. Your organs are programmed to respond in certain ways to situations that are viewed as challenging or threatening. one of this reactions is the Fight or flight response.
The fight-or-flight response is a physiological reaction that occurs in response to a perceived harmful event, attack, or threat to survival. For instance, if you suddenly come across a snake in your apartment, you are triggered to either run away or kill the snake depending on the amount of risk it portrays.
