If an applicant (under age 18) does not achieve the passing score on either the sign or the knowledge test for driving, he/she may re-take the tests after waiting 7 days.
The driving test is conducted by an Inspector from the RTO. It involves the candidate having to drive through the RTO's selected driving track. You may be tested on general driving skills, however well you follow the foundations, and your knowledge of the rules.
Most common mistakes in test are lack of control when steering, turning right at a junction, incorrect response to traffic lights and road markings, lack of control when reverse parking, etc.
