What is the USDA MyPlate Pattern?

The USDA Food Patterns were created to assist people in following Dietary Guidelines requirements. They recommend daily quantities of nutritional foods from five main food groups and their subdivisions.

MyPlate encourages us that the greatest meals include a variety of foods from several dietary categories. Vegetables and fruits should account for half of your plate.
