The Cultural Revolution was the sociopolitical movement aimed at seeking adherence by young people to communist ideals.

What was the Cultural Revolution?

It was a sociopolitical movement instituted in China in 1976 by Mao Zedong whose objective was the preservation of communism as a response to the rise of world capitalism.

Therefore, the Cultural Revolution focused on the propagation of ancient cultural and social ideas to the youth, who would be responsible for the preservation of communism in Chinese society.
