z = k×x²/y³

12 = k×8²/2³ = k×64/8 = k×8

k = 12/8 = 3/2

24 = k×x²/1³ = 3/2 × x²/1 = 3/2 × x²

24/(3/2) = x²

48/3 = x²

16 = x²

x = 4 or

x = -4
