My mother is a teacher in my highschool. There are multiple female restrooms around the school but she doesn’t let me use them. She has this “rule” for me because she doesn’t want me in the restrooms where other kids might be vaping. But it is very inconvenient for me. Ex: i was about to throw up, so I ran to the nearest restroom and I did so. When my mother found out, she yelled at me for it. She “allows” me to use one restroom. The restroom is in the guidance office. (It’s a one person restroom). I go to a public school in Ohio. Is this legal?

As your mother, it’s not illegal. But since she is a teacher, she does have to treat you like a student so yes. It’s illegal, and should not be allowed. You should go to the principal about this. Plus it’s not right whatsoever. I say, screw it and tell her you will be using the restrooms. And tell her you will be telling the principal about the situation if she tells you no again. !
