What would happen if Earth were hollow but had the same mass. If Earth only had a crust and the mass of the crust was the same as it is now, what would be the gravitational pull of the planet? Why?
the gravitational pull would feel just slightly less. The reason why is because now all of your mass is in the crust which is further away from you than the core of the earth.
