Respuesta :
The goal of Prohibition of alcohol in America was to enhance the C. high moral identity of America.
Between 1920 and 1933, Americans lived under the constitutional ban of Amendment 18. Prohibition was from the manufacture, sale, and transportation of alcoholic beverages in the United States.
Unfortunately, the purpose of the ban did not align with the law. The law should have banned the consumption of alcohol so that it could become illegal for any person in the United States to drink alcoholic beverages. Instead, the law banned the activities of manufacturing, selling, and transportation. This made the prohibition ineffective.
Thus, the goal of Prohibition was not to increase innovation and immigrant influence or protect big business but to enhance the high moral identity of America. But it failed woefully without achieving its purpose.
