On the basis of research the advise that I would give to Michael and Leah is that they should allow Mia to join any preschool or playgroup.
It would be a good thing for her to join because of the following advantages:
- Joining a preschool or relating with her peers would help Mia to get involved in the social sphere early enough. These social skills would be very useful to her in the future as she grows up.
- She would learn discipline and how to live a structured life in preschool. She would be taught how to cope in the classroom and how to interact with her mates and her teachers.
- She would begin to learn the basics of most subjects early enough.
- She would have to develop emotionally and learn how to start doing things for herself instead of relying solely on her parents all the time. This would help her to grow.
- She would also become a very curious person and would love to ask questions more on why certain things are the way they are.
Given these factors that i have listed above, I would advise her parents to let her relate with her peers.
