Answer : (a) Trade winds blow from the subtropical high-pressure belt to the Equatorial low-pressure belt in Northern and Southern hemisphere. They blow in a constant direction throughout the year and in a regular manner. These winds are named so because these are helpful for the traders while sailing in the sea.
