Then we are gonna find the amount that 4.5% of is equal to $67.50.

4.5/100=67.50/x (cross multiply)
4.5x = 67.50x100
4.5x = 6750 (divide both sides by 4.5)
4.5x/4.5 = 6750/4.5
x = 1500

Therefore the amount she earned in sales is $3000 + $1500 = $4500
