tom is a cat in the show. jerry is a mouse who is clever and keen to set traps and also run away from tom. they are supposedly enemies or more rather food and predator. the whole show is basically them running away from each other and somehow never dying in the process.
Tom and jerry is a show about to animals. Cat and mouse. They are constant fight and getting into a silly arguments. The mouse usually always bothers the cat but the cat is always deemed the mean one.
