Cells are considered the basic units of life. If something is not made up of cells, it is not alive. Cells are required for living things to carry out life processes. Cells are constantly working in our body in order for us to function as an organism. Plants are made up of cells that allow them to carry out processes such as photosynthesis and help the cell use the sun's energy for cellular processes. When we know that all living things are made up of cells, it allows us to comprehend how organisms are created, grow, and die. That information assists us in understanding how new life is created and why organisms take the forms they do. Cells carry out all of the functions of life and without them living things could not function properly. Learning the components of cells helps us understand how all of the organelles in a cell work together to carry out a process. For example, we know that the nucleus is the control-center, the cell membrane is the gatekeeper, and the cytoplasm suspends all of the organelles (nucleus, chromosomes, lysosomes, mitochondria, vacuole, chloroplasts, etc.) which work together to carry out a cell's life process.
This is what I recall from cells, please add anything else that you have learned in order to better complete the answer. Best of luck!
Knowing that all living things are made up of cells allows us to understand how organisms are created, grow, and die. That information helps us understand how new life is created, why organisms take the form they do, how cancer spreads, how diseases can be managed, and more
