Just set it equal to zero and solve using the quadratic equation.
The zeros of a function are when y = 0, so set the right side of the equation equal to 0. Then factor; the right side becomes (3x-2)(3x+4). Set both of those parentheses equal to zero to find the zeros, or roots, of the equation. 
x = 2/3, x = -4/3
