When the radius is 'r', we get as,
V = 4/3*(π)(r^3)
when the radius is tripled that is '3r' , we get as,
V' = 4/3 (π)(3r)^3
V' = 27*(4/3(π)(r^3))
V' = 27 V
hence the new volume, when radius is tripled, is 27 times greater than the old sphere.
