  • The individual might lose access to things that will make their lives better.
  • The individual might get rich off the corruption.

The impact of corruption and fraud on an individual depends on if they are the victim or the perpetrator.

If they are victims, corruption will deny them access to better services because the corrupt individual will reap the benefits that they were supposed to get instead.

A perpetrator on the other hand, would enjoy the ill-gotten rewards they acquired from corruption and bribery.
