James and lena decide to share the cost of buying a car that costs $2500. If James agrees to pay $250 more than Lena, what is the amount tha Lena will pay?

I believe it's $2250 since you just subtract.
it should be 1000
2500 divided by 2 is 1250
take 250 away for what James will pay and the 1000 left is what lena will pay :)
