The belief in hell influences believers in a cascade of ways. Mostly, it creates a passion to get out there and save those who are lost. However, other Christians display cognitive dissonance and ignore the existentially threatening reality of eternal hellfire that threatens billions of souls.

The Christians are the religions of Godhead consisting of the three parts or head:

  • The father
  • The essence of Christianity  
  • Christian beliefs

Christians believe God sent his son Jesus, the messiah, to save the world.

The two ways in which belief in hell influences Christians today are:
