Answer these two questions correctly and I’ll give brainlist ❤️.
A fall dance sold 18 tickets during the first day of sales. This was 25% of the total sales. How many tickets were sold to the fall dance?


A mix of solid and striped shirts are hanging on a store rack. Sixty percent of the shirts are solid. If there are 45 shirts, how many are striped?

first question:

72 tickets were sold.

so... if 18 is 25%

18+18=36

then 36 would be 50%

36+36=72

so then 72 would be 100%

72*.25=18

second question:

27 striped shirts

60% of 45 is 27 so that means there are 27 solids, the remaining 18 are striped.
