Savanna is not temperate, it is also called tropical grasslands, further supporting my answer. It is PART of the kinds of grasslands, So because it is a part, it is not a major Biome.
According to my research, a major land biome is a tropical savanna, but it does not show temperate savanna on the list. So I think this is the answer because the rest that was on the list.
