Respuesta :

C
The founders were big fans of making sure any change of the constitution would be extremely difficult without near unanimous support

The Founding Fathers took their time to make the Constitution C. To allow each branch's actions to be checked by another branch.

The Founding Fathers did not want any branch of government to be so powerful that it abuses the people as the British had done and so they spent time putting in checks and balances between the branches.

Some of those checks include:

  • Executive can nominate Supreme Court Justice but Senate has to approve
  • Executive leads the army but Congress needs to declare war
  • Congress passes law but Supreme Court can strike it down if it is unconstitutional

In conclusion, the Constitution ensured balance between the branches and needed time to do so.
