Step by step explanation

Answer:

The sky is blue the day because...

Explanation:

The atmosphere of the Earth has air particles that can not be seen by eyes, but certain colors coming from the Sun can detect them. It is very difficult for those colors to go through the atmosphere because of the air particles. Each time there is an air molecule on their road, those colors deviate from their trajectory and go through all the directions. By dint of bouncing on air particles, they separate themselves from other colors and fill up the sky, so they are disseminated. The colors which can detect the air particles are the color with a short wavelength, and especially the violet and the blue, but the violet has a shorter wavelength than the blue, so normally the sky would be violet and not blue. But the sky is not violet because:

- the Sun emits more blue than violet

- the strongest color emitted by the Sun is yellow

- our eye is more sensitive to yellow

- yellow+violet=blue (our eye naturally adds up the colors)

Note: when seeing from the Earth, the Sun is yellow and not white (seeing from space), it is because the sky is blue: when we take off blue from white, it gives yellow (blue-white=yellow).
